Do you like building things up from the ground?
This boutique environmental consultancy has grown from 14- 40 people over the last 2 years and the project work is coming in thick and fast. They are looking for someone with a background in contaminated sites but their intention is to use this consultant as a generalist which is what they do with all their engineers/scientist.
Have you been board with the same pre designed petro chem same old?
The internal structure is very much driven towards the generalist consulting so that everyone can get a taste of everything and this means that you won’t be pigeonholed into one specialisation and your technical initiative won’t go stale.
Having said this………………….
They want someone with a contam background because they have allocated budget and resources to build a specifically contam team over the next 6 months. They would need you to help with this and eventually to head up the team. Having this skill on your CV would do wonders for your career in the future. This a company on the move …………… big things are happening.
