Our client is seeking an IT Agile Business Analyst (Senior Level) to work closely with clients/customers, Product Owner and Development team(s) to elicit and communicate requirements that meet the client's functional product needs. You will use such techniques as facilitating workshops, story mapping, interviews, document analysis, surveys and business process descriptions to capture product requirements and then work closely with agile technical development teams to help develop solutions.
The role is client facing and will require strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills in order to deliver required outcomes. Strong organizational, documentation skills & attention to detail are absolute musts.
You will be part of a cross-functional Agile team, including Developers & Testers, utilising a Whole-of-Team approach to delivery and hence will be involved in all aspects of development. You will be required to elaborate & specify requirements with developers & identify acceptance criteria measures with testers. You will ensure a common vision is shared with the team which will contribute to project success. You will also be involved in project planning activities such as Initiation, Sprint/Release planning & transition to production
You must have excellent analytical competency & problem solving skills to deal with user requirements, problems and issues, conduct gap analysis of options and prepare high quality, technically sound requirements artefacts.
You will have strong relationship building skills with clients and maintain a high level of engagement with them, ensuring accurate and useful customer feedback is reviewed and utilized accordingly.
You are also required to contribute to tender responses and client proposals by preparing high level requirements and co-ordinating estimates.
To apply for this IT Agile Business Analyst, you will require to meet the following essential experience:
* University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business preferred and/or equivalent below experience
* Proven track record with a minimum of 4-5+ years experience in an Agile Business Analysis or Product Owner role and preferably come from a Software Development background
* Experience in Incremental & Iterative development
* Must have experience with Agile Requirements management including story writing, decomposition & defining acceptance criteria.
* Experience with working on technical projects in varying sizes
* Experience with working on multiple projects concurrently, and often to tight deadlines
* Excellent knowledge of SDLC and experience working in a SDLC compliant environment
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Visio or other industry-standard modelling tools
* Excellent internal / external client facing communication skills including presentation and negotiation skills
* Experience with visual and interaction design
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to document a requirement at both a functional and technical level
* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with experience running Workshops.
* Attention to detail, ability to work in a team or autonomously, and excellent customer service skills.
