Within this role you will be responsible for the sourcing and producing of tenders covering a variety of civil field projects. Projects include but are not limited to, rail, road, air, bridges and mining. In addition to this you will also be overseeing and responsible for:
• Preparing accurate and competitive tenders to an approved program in accordance with the client’s requirements.
• Hands-on estimating within the civil field. Initiating innovating solutions.
• Participation in the resolution of methodology and programming issues. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following criteria:
• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying and at least 10+ years’ post graduate experience in a civil contracting environment, working specifically in estimating. • Exceptional accuracy & analytical reporting skills.
• Strong computer proficiency coupled with astute attention to detail in drawings and specifications.
