Seeking people with economic or policy analysis skills to work in our Regulatory Review team. The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is the independent economic regulator in NSW. We determine local government rates and the maximum prices that can be charged for certain energy, water and transport services in NSW. IPART also serves as an economic advisor and policy think tank to the NSW Government. In this expanding role, we review the pricing of other services and investigate various aspects of industry productivity, competition, performance and planning. This will now also include a series of regulatory reviews looking at the efficiency of regulation of key sectors of the NSW economy, with the goal of reducing costs to business and the community.
