Your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrated experience in managing Domino servers and/or deploying Domino server infrastructure
• Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
Experience with SharePoint technologies, migration of Lotus Notes applications to Microsoft technologies and Java/TomCat skills are desirable.

Duties:
Promote the strategies and procedures of Ambulance to positively reflect the activities of the organisation. Provide strategic advice for external communications, public issues, events management and media liaison and coverage, to ensure Ambulance maintains an appropriate public profile.
The position holder will have a journalist background and be able to develop, research and write accurate and detailed feature articles for a range of media to increase the profile of Ambulance. The position holder will also provide timely, accurate information to key groups and the community on the day to day operations, special or mass casualty events involving Ambulance.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in media relations, with relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience. Demonstrated ability to prepare proactive and reactive responses, writing content for a range of media including feature articles. Show initiative in investigating, developing and managing proactive opportunities. Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation, interpersonal and negotiating skills. Ability to function individually and as part of a team and demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast pace in a demanding environment.
