Our client is a leading player in the Financial Services industry, that is still experiencing strong growth across its business. The IT / Telecommunications team has become an integral part of this organisation and now has an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager to join them.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of IT and Telecommunications, you will be responsible for the implementation of cost effective strategies as well as developing annual business plans including budget targets for all spend categories. You will utilise your strong analytical abilities to provide a broad range of support to their regional teams in NZ and APEA. Experience in IT cost analysis will be an advantage.
The Successful Applicant
You will have experience as a Business Analyst or category management gained within a professional service, tier one environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the confidence to present your findings to your peers and primary stakeholders. You will possess great organisational skills, have intermediate to advanced Excel and Access capabilities, and have the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
What's On Offer
A very competitive salary package and ongoing training will be provided. Although this is a 12 month contract, excellent, ongoing career progression prospects exists within this organisation for the right, motivated person.
